Axis have been producing product catalogues and brochures since 1976, when all design was done at the drawing board over a long period of time. Final films were shot on huge camera's and planned by hand on light tables, then finally transferred to plate at UV frames. These were then proof printed to check for mistakes - if there were any the whole process started again. Today we use a much faster and cost effective method. The original concept is layed out on computers, proof copies are be printed instantly and any alterations are made, then the whole job is digitally transferred to plate for final printing.

As with brochures, all the work we now undertake is produced on computer, giving the customer the advantage of seeing the work before it is printed. A very important requirement when ordering advertising as the wrong 'look' could be the difference between 'sale' or 'flop'.
